The Three Churches of Mahone Bay has made this little Nova Scotia village famous. The three churches are (from left to right) St James’ Anglican, St John’s Evangelical Lutheran, and Trinity United. These historic churches have stood for over a hundred years at this location. Because of their coastal frontage and careful upkeep (thanks to the Three Churches Foundation), they are one of the most photogenic locations along Nova Scotia’s south shore. To capture a photo with all Three Churches in one picture, we recommend this location. As a bonus, we recommend shooting in the spring just as the weather improves for stunning and colourful skies at sunrise. The sun will come up just behind the churches and create dramatic photos.
