Laguna de Cuicocha | Ecuador Photo Spot

Laguna de Cuicocha is a beautiful crater lake sitting in an extinct eroded volcano with two lava islands. There is a trail circling the lake with many incredible photogenic views. The whole circuit that walks around the crater lake is 14 km long and should take you 3 to 5 hours to finish as you stop to shoot the breathtaking views. The trail follows the rim of the crater and shows the rich blue waters and islands in the middle from different angles. (Reserva Ecológica Cotacachi-Cayapas, Ecuador)
