Space Needle by C. Tracy Photography

The Space Needle is an iconic, 605-ft.-tall spire at the Seattle Center, with an observation deck & a rotating restaurant. It was built for the 1962 World’s Fair and was once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River. It is built to withstand winds of up to 200 miles per hour and earthquakes of up to 9.1 magnitude. The Space Needle is especially photogenic at night with its intricate lighting.
