Lake Wenatchee is a glacier and snowmelt fed lake surrounded by the Wenatchee National Forest on the eastern slopes of the Cascades Mountain Range. The lake is circled by scenic nature trails and the western end of the lake has a small forested island (Emerald Island) sitting just off shore. (Lake Wenatchee State Park, Washington, USA)
