Colchuck Lake by Atanas Malamov (Washington Photo Spot)

Colchuck Lake is a beautiful alpine lake with icy waters that seem to change colours as you look at them – deep blue in the shade, bright aquamarine in sunlight. Plus towering high above you at the far end of the lake are the twin spires of Dragontail and Colchuck Peaks. The hike to the lake is roughly 8 miles in/back and very photogenic along the way.
