Reflection Canyon is a stunning serpentine river that snakes through impressive geological formations. The canyon has been named after its reflection of the surrounding mountains. If you are a Mac user you may even recognize as a photo of it was used to advertise the computer’s new retina display in 2012. Reflection Canyon was formed by erosion over millions of years. This photo location is not for the faint of heart. It is a 15-20 mile hike over Glen Canyon backcountry with an elevation gain of 1,250 ft. The canyon itself is an offshoot of Lake Powell and is a beautiful natural space. Be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a map if you decide to discover this stunning photographic location.
