The Port Richmond Power Generating Station is one of the most stunning abandoned places in North America. Merging the aesthetic and cultural power of beaux-arts design with massive technical wonder. This station was built in the 1920s and was in continuous use until the 1980s when it was left to rot. The site has been a set piece in such films as Transformers and Twelve Monkeys since its abandonment.
