Located in the Sheepshead Mountains is this lovely stopping place along the desolate Steens Highway. If the weather is right the entrance to North Fork Ryegrass Creek Rd is a fantastic rural photography spot. The opening in the gate provides a lovely sense of scale to the vast plains that lead to the Butte in the distance. (Malheur County, Oregon, USA)
