Located between Hood River and The Dalles the Rowena Crest Viewpoint is a whimsical shooting location in the Columbia River Gorge. Home to a photogenic switchback it is one of the best places to stop and take a photo in the state park. Here Highway 30 curves back against itself in a perfect serpentine shape that draws the viewer deep into the photograph.
