New York State Pavilion - Photo by Joe Shlabotnik

The now-abandoned New York State Pavilion was constructed in 1964 for the World’s Fair. Today it makes a great and somewhat eery abandoned photo spot. The observation towers rose to a max height of 226-feet and were accessed by Sky Streak Capsules. The New York State Pavilion is now being restored after falling into disrepair since its abandonment in the 1970s. (Queens, New York, USA)
