Frankfort North Pier Lighthouse | Michigan Photo Spot

Frankfort North Pier Lighthouse is a crisp white lighthouse sitting at the outer end of the north breakwater. The long cement breakwater stretches well out into Lake Michigan giving many photogenic views. The lighthouse is especially photogenic during sunset and in rough weather when it can get battered by the waves. Always use caution on windy days if the waves are splashing over the break wall – it can be quite slippery and the waves can be unpredictable. (Frankfort, Michigan, USA)
