The Cumberland Falls are a natural wonder in Kentucky. This massive waterfall measures 125 feet wide and cascades water down a 68-foot drop. 3,600 cubic feet of water spill over the sandstone edge every second, resulting in a majestic and impressive waterfall. The famous waterfall is often called the “Niagara of the South” due to its size and the sheer volume of water. The falls are located in the Cumberland Falls State Park and are part of the Cumberland River. Find the falls just off of the Moonbow trail. They are easily accessed and photographed either from viewing platforms or nearby trails that lead to amazing views.
