The Chicago Cultural Center is the nation’s first free municipal cultural centre and one of the city’s most popular attractions. It is also considered one of the most comprehensive arts showcases in the United States. While the exterior is lovely, a 38-foot diameter dome made of Tiffany Favrile glass is found inside. Preston Bradley Hall is home to an austere 38-foot Tiffany glass dome designed by artist J. A. Holzer. The Cultural Center states this to be the largest Tiffany dome in the world. The dome was restored in 2000 and is simply stunning. The rest of the 1897 Beaux-arts building is also fantastic to explore and features magnificent stairways and arches. but nothing compares to the beauty of its massive Tiffany Dome.
