Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse-Photo by William Spinrad Jr.
Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse sits on a breakwater visible from the shores of Cape Henlopen State Park. The lighthouse was completed in 1885 and is red and black in appearance. The Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse is a lovely sunset photography location. Sea birds congregate on the breakwater around the lighthouse, which adds some atmosphere to photographs of it. Photographing it from the beach is the easiest option, with parking readily available at Cape Henlopen. Just drive to the end of Post Road. This area is also a protected area, making it popular with bird photographers. (Lewes, Delaware, USA)
