Brainard Lake | Colorado Photo Spot

Brainard Lake is a small alpine lake nestled in the front range Rockies surrounded by rich green pine forests. Due to its elevation of 10,300 feet, the snow melts late leading to many unique shooting opportunities as the seasons change. No motorized boats can access the lake during the summer which is a bonus for keep the lake still and perfect for reflection photography. During the winter the Brainard Lake Recreation Area gate will be closed but you are still able to access the area by foot (hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing) (Ward, Colorado, USA)
