Glass Beach by Joshua Sortino

Glass beach is tucked in a little cove that was used as a dumping ground until the 1960s. Mother Nature found a way to turn trash into treasure – years of the crashing Pacific Ocean have battered broken glass down to soft pieces of colourful beauty. The beach is a wonderland of completely smooth ‘sea glass’ – shards of broken bottles, windows, and other debris that have been worn down over the decades by the rolling surf. Sea glass comes in a wide range of colors, depending on the original materials that were discarded. Please respect the beauty of the beach by leaving all the sea glass where it sit, people taking home souvenirs are slowly removing all the uniqueness of this beach. (Fort Bragg, California, USA)
