Flat Rock by Sam Sabri

Flat Rock is a unique large sandstone fin sticking out toward the ocean and at the base there is a large flat rock that can be climbed onto when the tide is out. At low tides the beach will be wider so you can explore south and look for sea caves. To reach the beach at Flat Rock you can hike down trails from the parking lot high up on the hill next to the visitor center. You can also get to Flat Rock by walking north from Black’s Beach or south from Torrey Pines South Beach but both routes might be all wet at high tide. (Torrey Pines State Reserve, California, USA)
