Noccalula Falls | Alabama Photo Spot

Noccalula Falls is a 90-foot waterfall with a trail winding through Black Creek Gorge at its base past caves, an aboriginal fort, an abandoned dam, a pioneer homestead, and Civil War carvings. Not only is the waterfall amazing, but the hiking and walking trails are also worth exploring with a camera. Photographers can explore near the top and then hike down to the base of the falls. The journey is about 1.5 miles in and out. You can even explore behind the falls but be sure to protect your equipment because there is a lot of mist kicked up as the water crashes down.
