Acueducto de Morelia is an imposing, miles-long aqueduct known for its limestone construction & 253 towering arches. Its construction was ordered by Bishop Fray Antonio de San Miguel in 1785, serving to provide drinking water to the city and was in operation until 1910. This aqueduct came to replace three other aqueducts that did not stand the test of time, the first one built in this place dates back to 1549. The aqueduct stretches out along Av Acueducto, providing many unique photogenic views. (Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico)
