Ilulissat Icefjord - Photo by Dylan Shaw

Ilulissat Icefjord is a massive collection of icebergs that have calved from the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier and one of the northernmost UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are three ways to explore/shoot the icefjord – by plane tour, boat tour or on foot by walking along the raised pathway to Sermermiut or hiking along the marked Blue Route trail. The icefjord is especially photogenic in the late evening hours when the icebergs change from white and blue to shades of orange and red when struck by the midnight sun. (Ilulissat, Greenland)
