The Historic Prince George hotel is in the heart of downtown Kingston that dates back to 1809. It is composed of several limestone commercial buildings that were combined into one facade in 1892. During that time the Prince George hotel was owned by the Herchimer family. Legend has it that their daughter perished in a fire in one of the hotel rooms. Ever since the Prince George Hotel in Kingston is said to be haunted. For that reason, the hotel has been the site of several paranormal investigations and was even featured in the US television show, Ghost Hunters. Whether or not it is haunted is still up for debate, it remains one of the most photogenic buildings in the Limestone City! (Kingston, Ontario)
