The Parliament of Canada’s Centre Block is a six storey high, symmetrical structure built in the modern Gothic Revival style. It displays a multitude of stone carvings, including gargoyles, grotesques, and friezes, keeping with the Victorian High Gothic style of the rest of the parliamentary complex. It’s home to the House of Commons and Senate chambers, the Hall of Honour, the Memorial Chamber, and Confederation Hall. As well as the Peace Tower and stunning Parliamentary Library. In the foreground is the Centennial Flame commemorates Canada’s 100th anniversary as a Confederation. (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)
