Lost Lagoon by Mauricio Criado

Lost Lagoon is a beautiful lake surrounded by trails and lushed greenery in the heart of Stanley Park. As a bonus there is often views with the stunning mountains as a background. The lagoon was once it was part of Coal Harbour and was essentially a tidal flat that filled with ocean water during high tides, then drained out with low tides until the Stanley Park Causeway was built and cut it off from Coal Harbour. That’s where the name Lost Lagoon came from – at low tide the lagoon would be lost into the ocean. (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
