Dunn Peak | British Columbia Photo Spot

Dunn Peak in Dunn Peak Provincial Park has the distinction of being the highest mountain between the Stein and the Monashees and is a prominent feature that is easily viewed from Kamloops on a clear day. You will probably need a 4×4 to access the trail head, then it’s an 8 km hike to the base of the mountain. (kamloopstrails.net has a detailed description of the hike and route.) The peak can be climbed, but there is no defined route or trail once leaving the valley floor. We recommend early autumn is a good time to visit/shoot, as the bugs aren’t as bad as they usually are during the summer. (Dunn Peak Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada)
