The ruins of Findlater Castle sit on a 50ft high cliff overlooking the Moray Firth. The castle dates back to the mid-1200’s and was used throughout history as a strategic protection point. As a bonus sometimes there is a large pod of dolphins in the bay. The path to the cliff is quite steep and can be slippery. (Banff and Buchan, Scotland)
