Samuel Beckett Bridge by Daniel Dudek

Samuel Beckett Bridge is a modern cable-stayed bridge in Dublin that is one of the most interesting architecture pieces along the River Liffey. Envisioned as echoing the form and shapes of a Celtic harp, the bridge’s design results in fantastic photography opportunities. The bridge is named after famous Irish author Samuel Beckett. The bridge was designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and commissioned in 2009. The bridge consists of 31 cables and soars to a height of 48 metres (157 feet). The bridge also rotates 90 degrees to permit water traffic to pass. The bridge is well lit in the evenings and is close to the Dublin Convention Centre, creating some fantastic photo opportunities in the evenings. (Dublin, Ireland)
