Welland Viaduct (also called the Harringworth Viaduct) is a soaring rail bridge made up of 82 arches, each with a 40 feet span. It is the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in the United Kingdom. Completed in 1878 an incredible 30 million bricks were used in the viaduct’s construction. The viaduct is still part of an active rail line, used mainly by freight trains and steam specials. (Harringworth, England)
