Wast Water by John Gough

Wast Water is a glacial lake, formed in a glacially ‘over-deepened’ valley that is the deepest lake in England at 258 feet. The lake is beautifully photogenic with its rich blue water paired with a rugged mountain backdrop (Surrounded by the mountains – Red Pike, Kirk Fell, Great Gable and plus England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike). (Nether Wasdale, England)
