Neal’s Yard is a quiet courtyard hidden down an Alley in London’s Covent Garden district. Named after a 17th-century developer, Thomas Neal, the area is home to several small shops, cafés and health food shops. This vibrant, colourful area is lined with lovely old buildings with a beautiful background aroma of freshly ground coffee. But what makes it truly remarkable from a photography perspective is the unique colours of the shops, beautiful gardening and unique atmosphere.

Neal’s Yard can get quite busy during the weekends and summer, so it might be better to shoot either early or late in the day, although the bustling aspect does add uniqueness to photos taken here.
