Hewenden Viaduct by Tim Green

Hewenden Viaduct stands an imposing 123 feet tall and spans 576 yards with 17 arches each of 16.5 yards. The foundations of the viaduct had to be sunk more than 60 feet into the earth because of the unstable ground below. The viaduct hasn’t been used by a rail line since 1964 and is now part of the Great Northern Railway Trail. (Bradford, England)
