Blackchurch Rock by Samuel Thompson

Blackchurch Rock is a large arch stack sitting under an imposing cliff face along the rugged Mouthmill Beach shoreline. This mix creates many dynamic shooting opportunities, especially when paired with the changing tides. It can only be viewed when the tide is out and is best about 2 hours on either side of the afternoon low tide. Do pay attention to the tides while shooting because it is quite easy to get caught as the tide comes back in quickly and its easy to get trapped along this stretch of coastline.
