Pont de Llierca is a soaring stone arch bridge that dates back to 1345. It was built purely for commercial purposes – the transportation of goods and livestock from the small hamlets and farms on the western slope of the Llierca to the surrounding towns. The bridge was part of the old path that went from Tortellà to Oix, it was such a strategic bridge that the lords of Sales charged a toll for using it. (Llierca, Spain)
