Strbské pleso is the second largest lake in the Slovak part of the High Tatras and their most typical moraine lake. It is located at an altitude of 1 346 m above sea level in the place where the Furkotská and Mlynická valleys join. It has an area of 19.76 ha, a maximum depth of 26 m, a length of 640 m and a width of 600 m. (Vysoké Tatry, Slovakia)
