Church of St. Elizabeth | Slovakia Photo Spot

This stunning church is known as the Blue Church of Bratislava or the Little Blue Church. However, its real name is the Church of St. Elizabeth. The church’s richly ornate light blue and white decoration makes it a fantastic photography subject against a partly cloudy sky. The craftsmanship and detail, right down to the beautiful tower clock, have made it one of the most popular photography destinations in the Slovak Republic. The Hungarian Secessionist Catholic church is located in the old town district and has stood here since its construction in 1908. The Church of St. Elizabeth was consecrated to Elisabeth of Hungary (daughter of Andrew II) and initially was the chapel of a nearby school. (Bratislava, Slovakia)
