Palendorp Petten is a unique beachside artwork made up of 160 wooden poles ranging from 6m to 12m high. The poles are arranged to represent 10 houses and a church as a reminder of old Petten which was flooded by the sea several centuries ago. The artwork is especially photogenic during sunset and the changing tides.
