Noordwijk Lighthouse | Netherlands Photo Spot
Share this Page
A lighthouse in some form has stood on this spot for hundreds of years, starting as a bonfire lit every night to guide the fishermen home. The Noordwijk Lighthouse was built in 1921 as a reconnaissance tower for shipping, and ten years later the tower was painted bright white to protect it against the water. The lighthouse presents some unique shooting challenges since it is now surrounded by the town on three sides which may lead to some creative thinking for your shooting adventures.
