The Three Brothers - Photo by Shawn M. Kent

The Three Brothers are the oldest tenement buildings in Riga, Latvia. The three buildings feature unique architectural styles and colours. Legend says that descendants of the same family built all three buildings over several centuries, and from this story, the location gets its name. The oldest building (the white one) was initially built in the late 15th century and is considered the oldest original building still standing in the Old City of Riga. The middle one is well known for its beautiful facade and architectural elements, and the youngest green one is now home to the Latvian Museum of Architecture. (Riga, Latvia)
