Cima Rosetta | Italy Photo Spot

Cima Rosetta is a soaring peak with stunning views offers of the surrounding mountain groups. The peak is fairly easy to reach from the town of San Martino, thanks to two cable cars that bring you first up to Colverde and then to Cima Rosetta. On the top there is a large plain of naked rock that seems to stretch on forever. The landscape seems almost alien and on a clear day you can see from mountain range to mountain range for miles. Several trekking paths start from here and there are a number of peaks to be conquered, depending on your hiking skill (and fitness) level. A short but steep walk takes you all the way to the large iron cross sitting at the peak of Cima Rosetta, and from there the view is breathtaking. (San Martino di Castrozza, Italy)
