Phare du Cap Gris-Nez is an imposing stone lighthouse sitting high above the cliffs with a stunning view looking out over the bay. The original lighthouse was destroyed by the Germans in 1944, during World War II. This area is especially photogenic during sunset. After you are done shooting the lighthouse you can walk southwards along the path on top of the cliffs. Sea lions and seals could be seen lazing in the sea below. (Cap Gris-Nez, France)
