A Paris icon, the Notre Dame Cathedral is a medieval Catholic cathedral situated on the Île de la Cité in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The cathedral was largely completed in the 1200s and is one of the world’s most famous Cathedrals. Partly because of its beautiful stained glass rose windows and flying buttresses and arches. Following a severe fire in 2019, the cathedral closed and underwent reconstruction. Popular photography spots include shooting from the courtyard in front of the Cathedral or from the Pont de l’Archevêché. This latter location is largely ruined by ongoing restoration. (Paris, France)
