Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay by Amandine M

A former Cistercian monastery in northern France was founded in the 1100s. Today it has been converted to a hotel. However, the ruins of the old Abbey church remain and make a fantastic photography destination. Moss, foliage, and lush green grass paint stunning contrast against the ruin’s brickwork’s soft muted yellows. This beauty combined with the intricate circular windows makes this a must-stop for any photographer in the region. (Cernay-la-ville, France)
