St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral by Shawn M Kent

The St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral is a beautiful medieval Roman Catholic Church found in the heart of Brussels. This location is perfect for night and light trail photography. In the interior, find vaulted cathedral ceilings and various renaissance era sculptures. Most notable is the stunning stained glass windows, particularly over the main entrance. Keep an eye out for the black and white altar as well. It is also extremely photogenic. The St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral is named for the patron saints of the city of Brussels. It is widely regarded as one of the best-preserved examples of Brabantine Gothic architecture. (Brussels, Belgium)
