Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt (Maria am Berg) is a historic stone chapel sitting tucked into the side of a rugged hill that dates back to the early 1500s. This beautiful church sits above the town and commands wonderful views of the lake and the mountains. There is a graveyard, with carved wooden crosses above small graves. Behind the graveyard sits a charnel house or ossuary. This is quite small compared to ossuaries in other places, but is unusual in that the names of the deceased are painted on the skulls, along with the date of their passing, and symbols of their life on earth.
