Port Lockroy by Liam Quinn

Port Lockroy is a historic British Antarctic station that is being slowly transformed into a museum. The port is home to a large gentoo penguin colony – so many that the penguins have pretty much taken over. There are many incredible photogenic views of the nesting penguins, scenic bay dotted with icebergs and Wiencke Island as a stunning backdrop. Uniquely it is also home the most southerly operational post office in the world. (Goudier Island, Antarctica)
